The Cruise Lifestyle absolutely thrives on the variety of content we provide to our fans and viewers – both on our website, in our social media, and in our published video clips and full episodes. For much of this content, we actually rely on YOUR INPUT and submissions.
If you have original cruise related content that you think would be interesting and entertaining to our viewers (and you would be happy to let us use it), please let us know or send it through!
What are we looking for?
The Cruise Lifestyle has a number of segments within our shows that go absolutely gangbusters with your input. Which is great – because each of these segments are designed to work best when we receive submissions from a wide variety of our viewers’ own experiences. YOUR experiences. So, what sort of things are we after?

• Archive Content – we’re looking for any old pics or videos you might have of cruise ships, cruising holidays, shore locations or tours, sightseeing landmarks, events or cruises you have taken in years (decades?) gone by.
Some history to reminisce. Cruising has changed a lot over the years, and sometimes it’s pretty cool to look back at the way things were.
• Hints & Tips – we want to know your best hints and tips when it comes to taking a cruise holiday. What are the best hacks and shortcuts to make the cruising experience so much better? Grab your phone or a camera and record a short (30 second or so) video presentation of your favourite tip or cruise hack. Send it through and it might make it to our “Hints & Tips” segment!
And here’s our tip: make it entertaining, easy to follow, and reasonably concise (around 30 seconds is ideal), and with clear sound. Oh, and we don’t mind you being a little creative if you so wish..
• Funniest Cruise Videos – Yeah, we know…. What happens on a cruise stays on a cruise, but what are some of the craziest and funniest things that you have done or have happened whilst you have been on a cruise? Did you capture the moment on camera? Send us your images or (preferably) video of the moment, and it might just make it into one of our episodes! You might even like to tell a story or two from your own experiences – send us a video, or let us know. We can always be in contact and set a time to record an interview with you from our studio if we feel it’s worth following up.
Of course, we can only show things where we have permission from all the parties involved, so please don’t send us video or photos that might seem funny to you, but could be at someone else’s expense or embarrassment. That just wouldn’t be cool..
• Your Cruise Reviews & Experiences – Is there an aspect of your cruise experience that you would like to share? Are you a closet reviewer or reporter? Maybe you would like to review a ship or a cruise holiday you have been on. Favourite restaurant at sea? Favourite shore experience? Destination? Something that really impressed you about your overall cruise experience? We are always on the lookout for well balanced, creative and entertaining reviews and experiences, so get cracking and send us your best, and your material just might make it into an episode!
Note: If you are recording or editing a video or slideshow of your cruise experience, please make it concise (we recommend to keep to a maximum of around 5 minutes in length). Be creative, entertaining, and make sure any commentary in your video is clear and easy to understand. Please do not use any recorded songs or commercial music in your video, as 99+% of the time this is breaching copyright, and we will be unable to publish your material.

If you have a great idea and are planning on sending us content, please first make use of our submission tips, which will greatly increase your chances of success in having your content featured on The Cruise Lifestyle.
There are a number of simple guidelines and tips we have posted there to help you make the most out of your content submission, as well as highlighting a few simple ways you can improve the quality and value of your submission.
We recommend you go there first before submitting anything! We’re patient people, and would rather wait for quality rather than quantity. 🙂
